What is Vestibular Rehabilitation?

Vestibular rehab is an exercise focused approach to the treatment of peripheral vestibular deficits. Vestibular rehab uses specific exercises targeted at improving certain areas and functions such as visual motor control, balance, general activity levels as well as reducing dizziness and promoting CNS compensation.

Typical patients who would benefit from receiving vestibular rehabilitation may include those suffering from BPPV, multiple sclerosis, cerebellar dysfunction, vestibular neuritis, Meniere’s disease, labyrinthitis, CVA/TIA and many others.

What We Offer

The first steps will be for one of our team to perform an initial assessment. The assessment will include a number of different tests to check what level you are at.

After an initial assessment one of our expertly trained chartered physiotherapists will then be able to develop a personalised treatment plan that includes specific head, body, and eye exercises. Some of these exercises will be performed at home while others will be performed in the clinic under supervision and with the help of a Physiotherapist.
