What is Clinical Pilates?

Pilates is a type of physical exercise which emphasises improving several elements of posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility, and breathing.

Core strength comes from the muscles of the abdomen and back working in unison to provide greater support to the body and indeed extra support for the spine.

Pilates is often combined with physiotherapy as a means of treating a variety of injuries, particularly those of the neck and back.
