Tara is a fully licensed and insured Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. She completed her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy Degree in Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh before working in an Irish hospital followed by private practice in Australia after which she went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine in Trinity College Dublin.
Experience & Interests
Although embarrassed to mention it, she now has 18 years experience in private practice whilst retaining a strong commitment to continuing education. She has also over 11 years experience teaching Pilates and is a Stott Qualified Pilates instructor teaching individual and small group classes. Tara has gained further education in teaching special groups such as women’s health, osteoporosis and Pilates for sport. Tara is qualified and certified to perform Dry Needling.
Tara has always had a great interest in Sport and worked with many teams including current involvement with rugby and tennis. She has a keen interest in Occupational health and is qualified and experienced in work station assessment. These assessments and the treatment of work related injuries has been part of Tara’s work for the last 10 years.
