Qualifications & Education

Mehnaaz qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa with an Honours BSc in Physiotherapy. She is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with a current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). Mehnaaz is certified to perform dry needling and is also in the process of obtaining a pro-femme women's health practitioner diploma. 


Since qualifying, Mehnaaz has worked as a Physiotherapist in the Johannesburg General Hospital (Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital) where she dealt with a variety of acute hospital cases. She has experience in the fields of Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Paediatrics, Cardiorespiratory, Trauma and Neurology. She has also worked in a private setting at the Back Clinic (DBC ltd) in Johannesburg where she perfected her skills of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of back, neck, upper limb and lower limb conditions. Patients were always quick to give positive feedback regarding her approach to patients.

Mehnaaz has completed a dry needling course and has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She prefers a hands on and holistic approach to Physiotherapy, to be able to get patients back into their normal routines and improve their quality of life. Mehnaaz is a passionate and driven Physiotherapist with plans to grow and develop in the fields of Physiotherapy.
