Qualifications & Education
Manjula is a CORU registered Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist and Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) from UK. She completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in India and then Masters in Applying Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University (UK), in order to learn the skills required to bring evidence into clinical practice. Recently, she moved to Dublin to do a full-time PhD in Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Experience & Interests
Manjula has developed her clinical skills working in multi-disciplinary hospitals, neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation centres, private practice and community settings, both in India and UK. She has a strong interest in musculoskeletal, occupational injuries, chronic pain management and risk assessments. Her experience as a lead clinician in a private practice (UK), has helped enhance her clinical skills in assessing and managing wide range of musculoskeletal, sports and occupational injuries. In addition, she has worked in pediatrics and neuro-rehabilitation settings. This varied experiences means she can provide a holistic assessment and management to all patients.
Outside Physiotherapy, Manjula enjoys her research and studies in college. She is also interested in long walks, hiking (since moving to Ireland), cooking, history and Irish music!
