A Busy Week for Irish Sport

This week has been a very busy period for Irish athletes of all levels; on bank holiday Monday (June 4th) 40,395 ladies took to the streets of Dublin for the 30th Flora Women’s Mini Marathon (10km) on what was a bright Sunny day after an otherwise dull and wet weekend. The race is the biggest all-women’s event of its kind in the world and its is believed that around €137 million has been raised for charity since its inception in 1983.
