Qualifications & Education
Anna Marie is from the Rathfarnham area and attended the local schools and sports clubs. She studied in University College Dublin, graduating with a first class honors degree in Physiotherapy. She is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and Ireland’s multi-profession health regulator CORU.
Experience & Interests
Anna Marie has experience in a variety of clinical settings at home and abroad. Upon graduation she moved to Singapore where she worked in a large acute hospital gaining experience in orthopedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and rehabilitation. From there Anna Marie moved to New Zealand where she worked in a private practice setting. Here she gained experience managing both a sporting and aging population.
Anna Marie provides a holistic service incorporating both manual therapy and exercise prescription into her practice with the aim of restoring function and preventing re-injury. She is passionate about empowering clients through education and providing best practice evidence to help people return to doing the things they love, as soon as possible.
During her time off Emily maintains a healthy lifestyle through cycling, running, adventure racing and when the weather allows is a keen snowboarder. She manages to ward off injuries through regular resistance training and Pilates.
Outside of work, Anna Marie lives an outdoor and active lifestyle. She is a keen hiker and on weekends can often be found exploring the Dublin and Wicklow mountains.
