Qualifications & Education
Anna is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and of the German Federal Central Association of Physiotherapy (ZVK). Anna obtained her Bachelor of Science at the University Medical Center in Hamburg-Eppendorf in cooperation with the University of Applied Science Hochschule21 Buxtehude in Germany. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Manual Therapy at the Physio-Academy of ZVK.
Anna worked for many years in a private practice in Germany. She has experience in treating acute and chronic orthopedic diseases, sports injuries and musculoskeletal pain, particularly low back, neck, shoulder and knee pain.
Anna has a strong background in sports physiotherapy. The practice she worked with had a close partnership with a variety of well known orthopedists. In her practice, she was one of the selected physiotherapists who treated the professional tennis players at the "Hamburger Rothenbaum" Tennis Tournament (ATP World Tour). Furthermore, Anna volunteered on a regular basis at the Hamburg Marathon where she was involved in the support and physiotherapeutic treatment of the runners.
Anna specialises in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy as well as all kinds of manual therapy techniques like joints & nerve mobilisation, manipulation, trigger point and functional movements. She is also a certified dry needling practitioner.
Anna assesses any issue with a holistic approach. She is a very hands-on therapist and combines manual and functional techniques with the necessary individual exercise therapy. She tailors her treatment on the individual need of every patient. Anna's aim is to help her patients achieve their personal goals and get back to their normal activities and daily routine as quickly as possible.
