Robert Kupiek, Chartered Physiotherapist
Qualifications & Education
Robert is a Physiotherapist and a current member of the ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists). He completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 2003 and his Master of Science (MSc) degree, both in Physiotherapy at University of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland. Robert is a member of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Musculoskeletal Therapists (CPMT) and strives to keep up to date with evidence based practice.
Robert has developed his skills working in Poland and Ireland in the public and private sector. He worked for four years in Poland specialising in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Robert was involved in the spinal cord injuries national treatment program.
He moved to Ireland in 2007, and has worked in 2 hospitals and private practice since then. He has developed further in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy treating conditions such as low back pain, orthopaedics and chronic pain. He has completed many post graduate courses including Manual Therapy, Taping, and soft tissue therapy.
During this time, Robert has gained invaluable experience in neurological conditions treating patients’ with Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease using treatment methods like NDT, Bobath and PNF. He has attended specialist training in NDT, Bobath and PNF (basic & advanced).
Robert has been playing basketball for over 15 years (Dublin, Divsion 1). He is a keen triathlete and finished two Dublin Iron Man 70.3 competitions (2015 & 2016), and completed the Dublin Marathon in 2012.
