Qualifications & Education
Niamh is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists). She obtained her BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy Degree in Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. She also holds a certificate in Physiology and Health Science from Institute of Technology, Carlow and holds various ITEC and FETAC diplomas from her Sports Therapy course completed in Crumlin College. Niamh is also qualified and certified to perform Dry Needling.
Since qualifying Niamh has worked as a senior physiotherapist within a private practice company in the UK specialising in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal injuries via application of highly effective hands on treatment techniques, producing rapid improvement to those suffering from soft tissue and joint injuries.
Since qualifying Niamh has completed courses in musculoskeletal acupuncture. deep soft tissue massage/soft tissue release and spinal manipulations. She has a keen interest in biomechanics.
