John Jordan, Chartered Physiotherapist
Qualifications & Education
John is a fully licensed Chartered Physiotherapist with current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. He gained his BSc Physiotherapy degree from UCD in Ireland, winning the Mater Prize for Psychiatry in the process. He also holds a previous degree in Sport Science and Physiology from the University of Leeds.
Since qualifying John has worked in both private practice and nursing homes, gaining experience in a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He has vast experience in exercise prescription, working with elite athletes to absolute novices and with children to the elderly. He has completed numerous other qualifications such as dry needling, sports specific taping, various coaching courses and sports specific exercise training.
John has a particular interest in lower limb biomechanics, have completed two papers on the subject. He specialises in orthotic prescription using our TOG gait scanner, as well as dry needling, musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, sports and deep tissue massage.
John enjoys physical challenges and has earned club colours whilst rowing for UCD. He captained his University of Leeds Athletics Club and represented the South of England in 200m. He has also competed in many charity road races and has competed in the Dublin Marathon. There are few sports that John does not enjoy watching.
