Lesser known injury treatments
So you’re exercising away and flying it but somehow, suddenly, something doesn’t feel quite right. You have an ache in that leg that wasn’t there yesterday. What do you do? Most of us have heard of RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. It’s simple and effective. Get that sore leg up on the couch, compress it with a bandage, ice it and give it a few days’ rest. Then comes the rehab.
Many of us will get small brief strains that will disappear over a few days but sometimes we have to use some lesser known techniques to aid recovery and get us back out there.
